I knew going into this ODI between the Australia and India women’s sides that I’d only get to see about two hours of the match. So, when Harmanpreet Kaur won the toss and demanded Tahlia McGrath’s side field first, my request was simple and reasonable.
Seven wickets before I left, please, ladies. In the end, I settled for four wickets and a screenshot of the most baffling over rate graphic I’ve ever seen.
‘Innings Timer 01:60 - 10 mins behind’ - what could that possibly mean?!? I don’t know, and I may never know, but I knew I had to have it.
It’s called negotiation, people.

Anyway, no need to worry about incomprehensible over rates when you bowl the opposition out for an even 100 in 34.2 overs.
