Australia v Pakistan Third T20 Report Card
Featuring commentary box shenanigans and not being a ninja
Commentary Box Shenanigans
Grade: D
Pakistan batted first in this final T20 international. (Not the final ever, to be clear. Just the last one of this series.) For at least a Power Play, everything seemed to be going splendidly for the visitors, leading the commentators to discuss other matters.
In between the myriad of David Warners (including one at the pitch report, one at the toss, one in the commentary box, I think two in the mid-innings break, and one at the presentation) offering their thoughts, such as they were, Mark Waugh started offering fielding tips.
Delightfully, most of those tips ignored the fact that Waugh possessed some of the most freakish hand-eye co-ordination ever seen in the sport.
I mean, what’s this nonsense?
Then Mark ‘Yowie’ Howard started promoting books that weren’t mine. Enough already, lads.
